The digital format has enabled many actors to challenge their expertise and others to return to the work. Following the OTT debut of Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, now Jaya Bachchan is all prepared and almost finished filming her first digital show.
According to the latest report, Jaya Bachchan has been secretly shooting for Endemol Shine India’s upcoming protect titled Sadabahar and Jaya Bachchan started filming for it in February this year. However, following the second wave of Coronavirus pandemic and government-induced lockdown to curb the spread, the shooting came to a halt. It was recently that the makers resumed the production of Sadabahar with Jaya Bachchan playing a key role.
The veteran actor has reportedly resumed shooting recently after the Maharashtra government announced relaxations for the production activities in the M&E sector. The series has been shot across real locations in and around Mumbai with proper precautionary measures in place. A team of 50 crew members are filming in a strict bio-bubble format to avoid the infection.
With the digital debut, Jaya Bachchan will be making a comeback in the entertainment world after years. After retirement, she appeared briefly in a cameo in the 2016 release, Ki & Ka, which featured Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles.
