British actor Tom Holland is at the peak of his career and living the busiest year. The 24-year-old actor is currently shooting for the highly-anticipated third sequel to the new Spiderman franchise. Meanwhile, he also has Apple TV+ movie Cherry, Chaos Walking and Uncharted in his kitty. Though he is loaded with work, he wants to play an iconic character in his career.
During a recent podcast with Variety, Tom Holland got candid, as we know him, about his personal and professional life. When asked a role from a book or a series that he would love to play, the Spiderman star picked the iconic spy character of James Bond. Known of spoiling his movies, Tom teased, “I’ve got two roles coming up that I’m playing in the next few years that I’m really excited about, but I can’t talk about them yet.” However, with some lessons from the past, he further added, “But I mean, ultimately, as a young British lad who loves cinema, I’d love to be James Bond.”
For those living under the rocks, James Bond is a fictional character of an intelligence officer in the Secret Intelligence Service known as MI6. Originally created by Ian Fleming, the most latest James Bond movie, No Time To Die, is yet to hit the theatres with Daniel Crag donning the Bond suit one last time. While everyone wants to play a character as famous James Bond, Tom Holland was quick to add, “So, you know, I’m just putting that out there. I look pretty good in a suit.”
