Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan are returning to the big screen together in the upcoming comedy entertainer Udta Teer. The film has secured its theatrical release date and will arrive in cinemas on October 9, 2026.
The project marks the second big-screen collaboration between Ayushmann and Sara following Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. This time, the actors will lead a humour-driven family entertainer built around chaotic circumstances and a series of comic situations.
Writer Akash A Kaushik will make his directorial debut with Udta Teer. Besides directing the film, he has also written it. Further information about the storyline and the remaining members of the cast has not yet been disclosed.
The film brings Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment together once again. It is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain.
With the release date now confirmed, Udta Teer is scheduled to open one week after Drishyam 3, which is set to reach cinemas on October 2, 2026. No other major theatrical release is currently scheduled for October 9.
