Shilpa Shetty is one of the most iconic actresses of the Bollywood who ruled the industry in the ’90s. The actress bid adieu the industry after the sports drama Apne and made her way to rule the Indian television with reality shows. After a long gap of 13 years, Shilpa Shetty is all prepared to make her comeback in Bollywood movies with the Sabbir Khan directorial Nikamma.
Talking about the project, Shilpa Shetty Kundra expressed her excitement for her comeback and said the script of the movie is refreshingly unique which made her work with the director. Without revealing details about her character, Shilpa said, “I loved my role, and it’s something I’ve never done before. I can’t wait for my audiences to see me in a new avatar.”
Helmed by Sabbir Khan, Nikamma stars Abhimanyu Dassani in the lead opposite debutant Shirley Setia. The movie is expected to hit the theatres in the summer of 2020.
