The ‘Hit-Machine’ Varun Dhawan announced reuniting with director Shashank Khaitan last year for Karan Johar’s magnum opus Rannbhoomi, however, the movie hit a backburner. Now after a year, Varun Dhawan is again joining hands with Badrinath Ki Dulhania director Shashank Khaitan for an out and out entertainer.
As per the reports, Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan have been working on multiple scripts lately and they have locked an out and out commercial entertainer as their next venture together. The movie will star Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar in key roles and is said to a comic love triangle. According to the source, the script was narrated to the beauties and they came on board immediately.
The yet-untitled project is being bankrolled under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions banner and is currently in the scripting process. Since the lead casts have been finalized, the movie is expected to go on floors by mid-2020 and promises another blockbuster in Varun’s kitty.
On the other hand, Varun Dhawan is currently shooting for Remo D’Souza directorial Street Dancer which also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhudheva, Nora Fatehi, Sonam Bajwa, Shakti Mohan, Vartika Jha, Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak and Raghav Juyal in prominent characters. Meanwhile, the actor will also be seen recreating the magic of Govinda in the reboot of Coolie No 1.
