Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar made their dream debut last year with the movie Dhadak under the production banner of Karan Johar. The movie proved to be a critical and commercial success for the debut stars and became an instant hit at the box office. While everyone loved their on-screen pairing, rumours about their linkup started doing rounds over the internet.
While the star kids have again and again denied such reports of their relationship, they have maintained ‘Good friends’ status ever since Dhadak made its way into production and have been spending ample amount of time together. Talking on the same, Janhvi Kapoor’s father and renowned producer Boney Kapoor approved their friendship and rubbished reports of their linkups. Boney said, “Yes, Ishaan and Janhvi have done a movie together and they must have become friends. I respect my daughter and her friendship with Ishaan.”
Meanwhile, there were also reports that Ishaan Khattar often visits the Kapoor residence to meet Janhvi and Boney Kapoor also adores him. However, a source close to the family has refuted such claims and said that Ishaan never visited the Kapoor residence after the release of the movie Dhadak.
