Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan are teaming up again for Ladaku, which will arrive in cinemas worldwide on June 18, 2027. Birla Studios announced the release date for the film, bringing the pair back together after Chandu Champion.
The project also gives Kartik a new role behind the camera. Alongside starring in the film, he will make his debut as a producer through his banner, Dopamine Studios. The company joins Birla Studios and Kabir Khan Entertainment in backing the production.
Inspired by an extraordinary real-life story, Ladaku centres on ambition, perseverance and hope. The announcement describes an emotional, family-oriented film about the determination needed to overcome challenges and pursue a dream.
For Kartik and Kabir, it is a return to storytelling drawn from real life. Their previous collaboration, Chandu Champion, also brought an inspirational journey to the screen. This time, their partnership extends to producing the film together.
Kabir’s earlier work includes Bajrangi Bhaijaan and 83, films that placed human relationships and resilience at the heart of their stories. With Ladaku, he is set to explore those themes again, with Kartik leading the cast and Ananya Birla’s Birla Studios joining the collaboration.
