The most controversial reality show  of Colors  ‘Big Boss’ declared Indian Television’s favourite Bahu Simar a.k.a. Dipika Kakar Ibrahim alias Faiza Ibrahim as the winner of season 12.

The reality show which inspite of being “controversial”  and of “Trashy” content has a massive fan following, had its grand finale hosted by Salman Khan on Sunday where Dipika, Sreesanth and Deepak Thakur were on the Top 3 finalist after Karanveer Bohra’s eviction on Saturday.

Without any doubt, Dipika who had a roller coaster journey in the show emerged out as the winner, taking the trophy and prize money worth Rupees 30 lakhs home. While Sreesanth who always remained the camera’s favorite either for his outrageous reactions or his heart melting gentleness  was the first runner up.

Talking about the Gangs of Wasseypur singer Deepak who hailed from Bihar gave a tough competition to every housemate and made it to the finale where he took the chance to leave the house with a chunk of prize money worth Rs. 20 Lakhs.

Deepak entered the house with his Jodi Urvashi  Vani as a commoner, who today have become a celebrity in his own way and audience’s favorite for his wittiness and dedication he put in every task to win the game. Apart from Deepak, Karanvir Bohra and Romil Chaudhry were in the top 5 list of contenders.

The Finale of the show was Grand in its truest sense, with stunning performances by the finalists and Salman Khan on his songs from Partner and Ready’s ‘Character Dheela’. Comedian Bharti Singh and Ex-housemates also graced the finale of the show with their presence.

‘Simmba’ director Rohit Shetty made the finale even more eventful with his contestants Aditya Narayan, Jasmine Bhasin and Ridhima Pandit from his upcoming season Khatron Ke Khiladi -Jigar Pe Trigger’ starting form January 5th on Colors.
