Ajay Devgn and his team recently began production on Son of Sardaar 2 in London, featuring a star-studded cast that includes Ravi Kishan, Mrunal Thakur, Vijay Raaz, Chunkey Pandey, Vindu Dara Singh, Deepak Dobriyal, Mukul Dev, Ashwini Kalsekar, Kubbra Sait, and Sanjay Dutt. However, in a surprising turn of events, the producers have decided to drop Vijay Raaz from the film due to alleged unprofessional behaviour on set.

Sources close to the project revealed that Vijay Raaz had been difficult to work with, making excessive demands and behaving rudely towards the crew and producers. Kumar Mangat Pathak, the co-producer of Son of Sardaar 2, confirmed the decision, stating that Raaz’s behaviour had become a major issue. According to Pathak, Raaz demanded larger rooms, and a more expensive vanity van, and even overcharged the production for his spot boys. When his demands weren’t met, Raaz reportedly became increasingly difficult to deal with, prompting the decision to remove him from the film.

Vijay Raaz, however, offered a different perspective. He claimed that his only mistake was not greeting Ajay Devgn when he arrived on set. Raaz stated that he was removed from the film within 30 minutes of arriving, simply because he didn’t approach Devgn to say hello. He denied any allegations of misconduct, suggesting that the real reason for his removal was much less severe than what was reported.

Kumar Mangat Pathak further clarified that the issues with Vijay Raaz had started even before the team left for London. Pathak dismissed the claim that Raaz was removed for not greeting Ajay Devgn, emphasizing that Devgn is not someone who demands such gestures. Instead, Pathak highlighted the ongoing difficulties with Raaz’s attitude and behaviour, which had caused significant disruptions on set. Ultimately, the decision to remove Raaz was not taken lightly, as it resulted in a loss of at least two crores for the production.
