Vicky Kaushal is currently one of the most sought-after actors by the filmmakers and he has been proving his talent again and again with his versatile performances and trying different genres of movies. While the post-production of his next Sardar Udham Singh is standstill amid the nationwide lockdown, the actor recently grabbed headlines for being pulled over by the cops.

As per the recent rumours, Masaan actor Vicky Kaushal was booked by the police for breaking lockdown rules and it was reported that he was pulled over in Mumbai. When the rumours started doing rounds over the internet and netizens bashed the actor for being insensitive to the pandemic situation, Vicky took to his social media handle to clear the air and bring the truth out.

Taking to the micro-blogging website, Twitter, Vicky Kaushal rubbished such rumours of him getting pulled over by a cop and wrote, “There are baseless rumours suggesting that I broke the lockdown and got pulled up by the cops. I’ve not stepped out of my house since the lockdown started. I request people not to heed the rumours.” The actor also tagged the Twitter handle of Mumbai Police to authenticate his stand.

While we are certain that it was merely a rumour and Vicky didn’t break any lockdown law, we request you to stay at your homes as well and help our government fight the viral pandemic.
