Indian television and Punjabi film actor, Shehnaaz Gill, enjoys a great fan following throughout the country and she has been one of the most bankable faces in recent months. While she became a household name after her stint in the celebrity-based reality show, Bigg Boss 13, hosted by Salman Khan, she is reportedly making her much-anticipated Bollywood debut with the latter.
According to the latest reports, Shehnaaz Gill is likely to be making her Bollywood debut as a second lead in the upcoming Salman Khan starrer, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The movie features the superstar in the lead opposite Pooja Hedge and recently, Salman Khan’s brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma, joined the cast as the second lead. If reports are to be believed, Shehnaaz will be paired opposite Aayush Sharma in the keenly anticipated movie. However, no official confirmation has been made regarding her casting so far.
Shehnaaz was last seen in the Punjabi-language hit, Honsla Rakh, featuring singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh in the lead. The movie was well-received by the audience and Shehnaaz’s portrayal of the movie character was heavily appreciated. Her fans eagerly await her debut in the Bollywood film industry and it is likely to happen soon.
Helmed by Farhad Samji, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has been in the news lately for its stellar star cast as well as the controversy revolving around the title. With Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde headlining the project, the makers recently brought Aayush Sharma and Raghav Juyal onboard with a possible casting of Shehnaaz Gill.
