Mirzapur: The Movie has completed a strong opening week at the Indian box office, collecting approximately ₹145 crore net in seven days. Led by Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi and Divyenndu, the film maintained a healthy pace after its impressive opening weekend and has emerged as a super hit.
The film began its theatrical run with ₹25 crore on Friday before recording considerable growth over the weekend. Collections climbed to ₹31.50 crore on Saturday and reached ₹35.50 crore on Sunday, giving the film an opening-weekend total of ₹92 crore.
After benefiting from the weekend audience, the film collected approximately ₹16 crore on Monday. It remained steady on Tuesday with ₹15 crore and added another ₹12 crore on Wednesday.
Thursday brought an estimated ₹10 crore, representing a decline of around 15 per cent from the previous day. The day-seven collection took the film’s first-week total to approximately ₹145 crore net in India.
The film will now face fresh competition from Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan’s Haiwaan. Its performance during the second Friday and the growth it records over the weekend will help determine how strongly it can sustain its theatrical run.
Hanuman Ansh also remains a major competitor despite entering its fifth week. The difference between the Thursday collections of the two films was reportedly only around ₹50 lakh, indicating that the devotional drama continues to attract substantial audiences.
Featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar and Ravi Kishan, Mirzapur: The Movie has successfully carried the popular crime franchise from streaming to cinemas. Its ₹145 crore opening week gives the film a strong foundation as it enters its second week at the box office.
