Akshay Kumar’s Mohra returns in 4K on November 6, joins Ramayana’s Diwali release week

Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty’s Mohra is heading back to cinemas on November 6, 2026. The 1994 action film will return in a 4K remastered version, putting it alongside Ramayana in the Diwali release week.

Trimurti Films confirmed the return through a teaser on its official YouTube channel on October 25. Deepinder Singh’s Rimpy Films International is handling the re-release.

One venue has already committed its full schedule to the film. Heera Talkies in Agra will screen Mohra across all four daily shows, leaving no slots for Ramayana at that cinema.

Originally released on July 1, 1994, the Rajiv Rai film also features Naseeruddin Shah, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal and Gulshan Grover. Its Viju Shah soundtrack includes Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast and Tip Tip Barsa Paani.

The return is part of a wider revival plan for Trimurti’s catalogue. Rimpy Films International has also shared plans to bring Vidhaata, Tridev, Gupt and Yudh back to theatres. Release dates for those titles were not included in the update.

For now, Mohra has a confirmed date and a remastered presentation, giving audiences another chance to watch the action entertainer on the big screen more than three decades after its original release.
