Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan could be sharing the dance floor again. Kareena is reportedly joining him for a special number in King, with the sequence expected to draw on the energy of their Ra.One track Chammak Challo.
The reported Mumbai schedule was due to begin on October 27. Vaibhavi Merchant is said to be choreographing the number, with international dancers being brought in for a large-scale production. There has been no official confirmation of the song or Kareena’s involvement so far.
The collaboration would revisit an on-screen pairing seen in Asoka, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Ra.One. While the comparison with Chammak Challo points to the planned mood of the sequence, it does not confirm a remake of that song.
King is scheduled to reach theatres on December 24, 2026. Its recently unveiled first poster presented Shah Rukh in a rugged look. Further details about the reported dance number, including its title and Kareena’s appearance, are yet to be announced by the makers.
