We have seen a lot of movies backed up by Dharma Production which was established by Yash Johar in the year 1976 and have produced more than 45 movies as of now.

Popular movies like Student of the Year, Raazi, Ae dil hai mushkil, Simmba and many more were produced under this banner, but it was a sad day on 30th of April, as there was a major fire that broke out at the Production house godown at Cama Industrial Estate in Goregaon near Mumbai.

Valuable stuffs like costumes to props were stored in the godown, which was destroyed by the fire started at around 2:30 am. It was also said that film collectibles, books and valuable antiquities were also kept in the storage area which was mostly related to the movies made by Karan Johar banner from the ’80s until the present.

Starting from the first floor, it gradually spread over third floor. Around 12 fire engines were called to handle the tragic situation. The filmmaker and his entire team is upset because of the loss of their guarded film property. However, there is no exact idea of the financial loss yet.

Student of the year 2, Drive, Brahmastra, Sooryavanshi are the upcoming movies under Dharma production banner.
