Huma Qureshi who is gearing up for her upcoming dystopian drama series Leila has now bagged another project. The actor has been roped in for a Netflix project called ‘Army of the dead’ which will be helmed by Zack Snyder. The director has earlier worked in DC movies like Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.
Zack marked his directorial debut 15 years ago with zombie horror, Dawn of the Dead and now again he is coming up with the same concept in Army of the dead where the plot will revolve around a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, when a group of mercenaries takes the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.
Huma will share the screen space with Dave Bautista along with other newcomers in the cast which includes Ella Purnell, Ana De La Reguera and Theo Rossi. The screenplay is under progress which is being written by Joby Harold, Shay Hatten, and Snyder whereas Principal photography is set to begin in July.
