Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has made his mark in the Hindi acting industry with his critically acclaimed performances in movies, Udta Punjab and Soorma. The latest buzz is that the actor has bagged another project in Bollywood.
Renowned producer Ramesh Taurani, who will be bankrolling the upcoming project, has confirmed the news and said that Diljit Dosanjh and Yami Gautam would be a fresh pair in the industry. Talking about the movie details, he mentioned that it would be a sensible comedy which would revolve around a couple and both the actors are known for their impeccable comic timing.
The untitled comedy-drama will be a directorial debut of Haroon Mirza, son of veteran filmmaker Aziz Mirza, and will be based on the last scripts of Neeraj Vora who has penned blockbuster scripts of movies like Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
Producer Ramesh Taurani is searching for a new face to play an important character in the untitled movie and film will go on the floors once the entire star cast is confirmed.
