The superhero drama, Shazam!, made its way to the theatres in 2019 and fans have been eagerly waiting for the highly-anticipated sequel, Shazam! Fury Of The Gods. While another superhero, Superman, had a mention and a neck down appearance in the first instalment of the Shazam franchise, rumours had it for the longest that Henry Cavill would be reprising his Superman in the sequel.
In May 2020, it was widely reported that Henry Cavill had been roped to reprise his Superman as a cameo in the in-the-making Shazam movie and speculations about his appearance have been doing rounds over the internet for the longest. However, almost after a year, the news of Henry Cavill donning his suit has been shunned by the latest reports.
The heart-breaking update informs that the English actor has no role to play in the upcoming Shazam movie and DC Universe fans will have to wait longer to see Henry Cavill’s Superman back in action. However, unseen clips of Superman along with those of Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg have been added in the much-anticipated Director’s Cut of Justice League. The Zack Snyder directorial will be released as a mini-series on HBO Max.
