The blockbuster sci-fi movie, Avatar, shattered numerous records with its visionary and ground-breaking VFX work. The movie went on to become the biggest film ever made and after years, the makers are working on a highly-requested sequel. While Avatar 2 went on the floors last year, there are more to the project that the fans are anticipating.
In a recent interview with MTV, the American actor Vin Diesel hinted that he might be a part of the out of the world drama. There have been reports of Vin Diesel being a part of the Avatar sequel and when the question popped during his interaction at MTV, he reciprocated in affirmation. When asked if he has shot anything for the new Avatar movie, Vin said that it will be happening soon.
“I have spent time with him (James Cameron), but I have not filmed yet. I love James Cameron, and I love the series (Avatar). I think it’s safe to say that we will be working together,” said Vin Diesel in the interview. However, there has been no information on whether his character in the movie will be a cameo or a full-fledged role.
Helmed and produced by James Cameron, Avatar 2 is slated for a release in December 2022 while Avatar 3 will be released in 2024.
