Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has recently returned from his honeymoon with his wife Natasha Dalal and he is already in work mode. The actor had earlier announced a collaboration with critically acclaimed filmmaker Sriram Raghavan for an action-packed biopic, Ekkis. The makers are now planning to bring the movie on the floors by February next year.
Varun Dhawan had recently wrapped filming of his upcoming movies, Bhediya and Jug Jugg Jeeyo, and he is all prepared to give all his focus on Ekkis as it is touted to be the most ambitious project of his career. To be helmed by Sriram Raghavan, Ekkis is based on the story of Second Lieutenant Arun Kheterpal who showed extreme bravery against fierce and unrelenting attacks by the Pakistani military at an age of 21. Kheterpal was honoured with the Param Vir Chakra posthumously for his courage and gallantry.
The movie will showcase the unforgettable story of his courage and his personal life story. The movie will be backed by Maddock Films led by Dinesh Vijan. Varun will be undergoing rigorous training to get into the shoes of the Second Lieutenant and will learn several war-based action styles and body language in his training starting from November.
