Unni Mukundan’s action-packed thriller Marco continues to impress at the box office, achieving a remarkable ₹51.85 crore in collections within 17 days. The film, which has already surpassed the ₹50 crore mark, is being hailed as the last Malayalam blockbuster of 2024.
Produced on a budget of ₹30 crore, Marco has generated a profit of ₹21.8 crore, delivering an impressive 72.67% return on investment. The film’s box office journey has been steady, with its third weekend bringing in ₹7.95 crore. On Sunday, January 5 (Day 17), Marco earned ₹3.1 crore, a 12% increase from the ₹2.75 crore it collected on Saturday.
With only ₹8.2 crore needed to achieve “hit” status, Marco is expected to secure that milestone by the end of its third week. Currently the sixth highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2024, Marco is just ₹12.2 crore away from surpassing Ajayante Randam Moshanam (₹64 crore) to claim the fifth spot.
With its gripping storyline and Unni Mukundan’s dynamic performance, Marco is proving to be a standout success in the Malayalam film industry, cementing its place as one of the year’s biggest hits.
