Bollywood Super star Salman Khan forayed into television more than a decade ago, but this year should mark his debut as a TV producer with two shows- one based on the life of Gama Pehalwan and another is a Cop series.

It’s been in the news for long that Salman’s younger brother Producer-Director- Actor Sohail Khan will be making his television debut with one of the shows from his production which is a wrestling themed project.  He was to play the lead role of Gama Pehalwan on whom the entire show is based for Star Plus, but there has been no development on it yet.

Sohail  made his acting debut with the movie ‘Maine Dil Tujhko Diya’ , but is mostly known for his comic timing in ‘Maine Pyar kyun Kiya?’ alongside Salman Khan, Arshad Warsi, Katrina Kaif and Sushmita Sen.

The news floating around now is that Sohail might become a part of the other show which is a Cop based show on Mumbai police and their lives. Mukul Dev and Pooja Gor are two of the confirmed cast for the show. If everything goes as per plan then the show should see the light of the day by the end of the year.

Salman who is seen hosting Dus Ka Dum season 3 these days, will soon be hosting the 12th season of the very popular reality show Big Boss on Colors  starting from September.
