Karan Johar’s magnum opus fantasy drama, Brahmastra, brings together Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt for the first time on the big screen and the movie has been grabbing headlines for some time now. While the shooting is ongoing for the superhero drama, it was earlier announced that Brahmastra will be Bollywood’s first trilogy.

According to a report published by Mumbai Mirror, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been approached to play key roles in the second instalment of the fantasy franchise and if the report has to be believed, the real-life couple has given their nod to the project as well. However, there has been no official confirmation made so far from the maker’s end.

If things work out as expected, it will be the first time Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing the big screen. While speculations of the two actors coming together for a movie has been doing rounds over the internet for years, it will definitely be a treat for their fans.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were recently spotted shooting for a romantic song for the upcoming actioner. The movie also stars Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and Amitabh Bachchan in key roles and is expected to release in the last quarter of 2020.
