Ayushmann Khurrana recently bagged a national film award for the movie Andhadhun along with two more National awards won by the movie. While the movie did great at the box office and was applauded by the viewers and critics alike, filmmaker Thiagarajan has bought the Tamil remake rights for the movie.

The Tamil version of Andhadhun will star Prashanth in the lead character which was played by Ayushmann Khurrana in the original movie. The rest of the cast and crew along with the title of the Tamil remake is still awaiting an official announcement.

As the dark thriller revolved around a piano player, Prashanth is expected to do justice to the character as he is a trained pianist from the Trinity College of Music, London. Helmed by A Venkatesh, the remake is expected to go on floors soon.
