Southern stars Nayanthara and Sivakarthikeyan are all set to tickle your funny bones in their upcoming romcom family entertainer ‘Mr. Local’. Produced under the banner of Studio Green, the teaser was recently dropped in by the team.

The actor duo will be pairing up for the second time after their 2017’s hit action thriller Velaikkaran. Loosely based on Superstar Rajnikanth and Kushboo starrer Mannan, Nayanthara and Sivakarthikeyan will be seen in a fun dynamic set up in this upcoming flick.

The teaser shows Mr. Local a.k.a Manohar played by Siva as someone from a  middle class household, however is a charmer among his people who comes face to face with Nayanthara a.k.a Keerthana Vasudevan, CEO of a leading media house who abhors “local” lot like Manohar and believes in only dealing with people of her status.

Therefore, begins a clash between the two that makes Manohar challenge Keerthana to bring down her arrogance & snootiness. Also, it would be her desperately asking for his attention, instead of the other way round.

The film also stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Thambi Ramaiya, Sathish, Yogi Babu, Roboshankar, Harija in pivotal and supporting characters.

Written & Directed by Oru Kal Oru Kannadi fame M Rajesh, the movie comes across as a typical old school war of sexes kind of mass appealing family entertainer, waiting to the hit the screens on 1st May, 2019.
