Sushant Singh Rajput and debutant Sara Ali Khan’s much delayed and awaited movie ‘Kedarnath’ directed by Abhishek Kapoor is all set to release on December 7th. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, the team released the official trailer of the movie recently.

Natural disasters are often caused due to the excessive abuse of nature by the mankind. Set on the back drop of 2013’s Uttarakhand floods, in the very beginning of the trailer we see how deeply and passionately Sushant’s character feels about Kedarnath and its people. He is seen suggesting ways to control over crowding of devotees in the Pilgrimage which would help in lessening the pressure on the valley as well as make the pilgrimage function smoothly.

‘Kedarnath: Love is a Pilgrimage’ is essentially a quintessential love story of a free spirited and lively Hindu girl Mukku (Sara) and a friendly, charismatic Muslim porter Mansoor (Sushant) who carries devotees on his back to the Kedarnath shrine while making sure its one of the best experiences of their lifetime.

However, their different religious faiths and status acts as a major hindrance in their union. Amidst all this is when the massive floods hits Kedarnath and threatens to destroy everything. Will their Love be able to survive the nature’s wrath and religious discrepancies?

The trailer gives a picturesque panoramic view of  Kedarnath. The stunning visuals and CGI used to create the horrific disaster is bound to overwhelm and captivate the audience completely. Adding to this is the palpable chemistry of Sushant and Sara that has you rooting for them.

Along with ‘Kedarnath’, Sara is set for another big release, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ along side Ranveer Singh under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions in December.
