Ekta Kapoor’s Alt Balaji is coming with a brand new web series ‘Home’ starring seasoned actors like Supriya Pilgaonkar , Annu Kapoor, Himani Shiv Puri along with Amol Parshar and Chetna Pandey.
In a video shared by his daughter and producer Ekta Kapoor, Hindi cinema veteran and legendary actor Jitendra Kapoor is seen reminiscing his childhood memories in the corridors of his chawl which was also his home for the longest time, before he became a big star in movies. He speaks about the feelings a middle class man or a family associates themselves with when it comes to their own house that they call their ‘Home’. Their sacred space.
The actor is seen urging the people on social media to share their #MyHome stories, photos or videos and share it with the team , so that the best one is selected.
The video is in connection with their digital channel AltBalaji’s upcoming web show ‘Home’ which hits the middle class sentiments at a very personal and intimate level. The show revolves around the story of how this middle class family fights all odds and stay together to protect their ‘Home’ from getting demolished because of the builder’s unlawful practices.
It is a story of Re-igniting Hope, belief, togetherness, Unity, fighting for and never giving up on what is yours. The show starts streaming on 29th August 2018 on the AltBalaji app and website.
