Harshvardhan Kapoor has proved his acting potential despite failing to get recognition and deliver good business at the box office. The 30-year-old actor, who played the lead in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya and Indian vigilante actioner Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, appeared in the comedy flick AK vs AK as himself and his sister, Rhea Kapoor, wants to explore more of his comic potential with her next.

According to a source close to the filmmaker, Rhea Kapoor is working on a romantic comedy script and she has approached Harshvardhan Kapoor and newbie Alaya F to play the lead pair. Both the actors have reportedly loved the screenplay and given their nod for the movie. Harshvardhan, who has only played series characters in his acting career so far, will be trying something new with Rhea Kapoor’s next production and she believes it will amp his commercial value.

Meanwhile, Rhea Kapoor is impressed with Alaya F’s performance in her debut last year which won her Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. According to the source, Rhea feels that Alaya is raw and can be explored more than any other new faces in the B-town.
