Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan celebrates his birthday today, i.e. March 14, 2022. From Dil Chahta Hai, Lagaan, Ghajini, Dhoom 3 to Dangal and PK, the actor has proved his acting prowess time and again.

01. His Parents didn’t want him to become an ACTOR!

Aamir Khan’s parents were against his idea of becoming an actor because according to them a career in the industry is a volatile one. Also, his family faced a financial crisis because of the failure of his father’s production house. All things added together and his parents wanted him to pursue engineering. But somehow he managed to go for movie shoots by pretending that he was going for a hockey match and hence here he is!

02. Aamir vowed to never work with Salman Khan AGAIN!

In an interview, Aamir said that during the making of the movie ‘Andaaz Apna Apna’, he used to get so upset with Bollywood Actor Salman Khan because of his habit of coming late on the sets. So, he decided that he will never work with Salman Khan ever again! And ironically, the two are best friends now.

03. When Aamir said ‘NO’ to Award ceremonies!

Aamir Khan was expecting the Best Actor trophy at the Filmfare Awards in 1996 for his Superhit movie Rangeela. He felt that he deserved the award however it was Shahrukh Khan who bagged the Best Actor award for DDLJ. Ever since then, Aamir never attended any award function because he believes that his movies should stay in the hearts of the audiences.

04. Aamir’s fondness for Cars!

05. Aamir’s unpleasant relationship with his Brother!

Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan accused the actor of keeping him captive in his own home. Faisal had stated that Aamir used to forcibly give him medicines saying that he is mentally ill. The matter got ugly and was hence dragged to the court. The court handed Faisal’s custody to their Father. However, His father gave the liability back to Aamir.

06. Aamir’s actual Debut!

Aamir Khan first appeared on the screen at the age of 8 in a very small role in his uncle Nasir Hussain’s film ‘Yaadon ki Baraat’. As an adult, his first Acting project was a brief role in an experimental social drama ‘HOLI’.
