Ever since the much-anticipated superhero movie based on DC Comics, Justice League, made its way to the movie buffs and DC fans, everyone has been demanding a ‘Director’s Cut’ by Jack Snyder. The movie was released in the year 2017 but Jack Snyder had to step down from the project during the post-production due to a family tragedy and director Joss Whedon completed the movie for the release.
For the three years, DC fans and celebrities have been demanding Jack Snyder to release his extended version of the superhero flick and carried the campaign with #ReleaseTheSnyderCut hashtag. Looks like the two-year-long fans led petition has paid off as the director recently announced the Snyder Cut release date for Justice League. During a live stream of Man Of Steel, Snyder revealed that director’s cut of Justice League will exclusively release on HBO Max in the year 2021.

The recently released video streaming platform, HBO Max, confirmed the news and teased that the much-speculated Snyder Cut will release either as a four-hour-long movie or six-part miniseries, which is yet to be confirmed. Movie stars, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, and Ray Fisher, who were the part of the campaign as well, took to their social media handles to share their excitement on the big announcement. The actors uploaded monochromatic pictures of the movie on their social media handles and congratulated the director and the fans for making it happen.
Justice League, despite the hype, opened up with poor reviews and the poor performance of the movie was blamed on Joss Whedon as fans claimed that he made the movie lighter. Soon after, everyone started seeking for a Snyder Cut which is supposed to be darker with more developed characters. The Snyder’s version will premiere on HBO Max in 2021.
