Ayushmann Khurrana has been creating riots at the box office lately with the bold topics of his movies. The actor has been very serious about the choice of his movies and his latest release, Bala, wreaked havoc at the box office despite surrounded by controversies and competitors.

Revolving around the life of a man suffering from premature balding and the societal pressure associated with it, Bala resonated with the masses and opened with a whopping 10.15 crore INR at the Indian box office. Getting mostly positive reviews from the critics and a positive word of mouth at the social media networks, Bala maintained a good growth at the box office and minted 43.95 crores in the first weekend.

The comical drama remained strong in the second week as well and had a super first Monday with a collection of 8.26 crore INR and witnessed a major growth on Tuesday. The movie had a slight dip on Wednesday and followed the trend until Friday due to tough competition from Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria starrer Marjaavaan. However, Bala reversed the trend and collected 6.73 crore INR and 8.01 crore INR on the and Saturday and second Sunday, respectively.

Despite great competition from Marvaajaan which itself collected 24.42 crore INR in just three days, Bala remained undefeated at the box office to take its total of 90.74 crores in just 10 days. While Ayushmann Khurrana has proved his potential to bring the audience at the ticket counters, Bala will clearly cross the 100 crore mark by the end of this week.
