Aamir Khan tried to resolve Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 exit dispute, claims FWICE adviser Ashoke Pandit

The discussion surrounding Ranveer Singh’s reported exit from Don 3 continues to make headlines, even after the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) withdrew its non-cooperation directive against the actor. The controversy has once again come into focus after FWICE chief adviser Ashoke Pandit shared fresh details about how the matter unfolded and the attempts allegedly made to resolve it behind the scenes.

In a recent interview, Ashoke claimed that the federation became involved after receiving a complaint from the film’s producer and director. According to him, the filmmakers informed FWICE that substantial investments had already been made in the project and that preparations for production were well underway.

Ashoke alleged that the lead actor stepped away from the film shortly before shooting was scheduled to begin, creating significant challenges for the makers. He stated that FWICE then followed its usual procedure by reaching out to Ranveer Singh to understand his side of the story before taking any action.

According to Ashoke, multiple reminders were sent to the actor over a period of several weeks, but the federation did not receive a response during that time. He further claimed that FWICE later examined documents and reports submitted by the actor’s auditors while continuing its review of the matter.

Ashoke revealed that on the day the federation was preparing to announce a non-cooperation directive, it received communication from Ranveer Singh’s team indicating that representatives would meet with FWICE officials. Despite this development, he said the federation viewed the matter as serious enough to proceed with its decision-making process.

He also claimed that several members of the film industry attempted to resolve the situation before it reached the federation. Among those who reportedly tried to mediate was Aamir Khan. According to Ashoke, various efforts were made to find a solution, but none proved successful before the matter escalated.

The controversy has reignited conversations about the financial risks associated with large-scale film productions and the responsibilities of everyone involved, from actors and directors to producers and crew members. While the full details behind Ranveer Singh’s departure from Don 3 remain a subject of debate, the incident has highlighted the challenges that can arise when major projects undergo last-minute changes.
