One good news is on the plate for the fans of the DC Universe as Wonder Woman is heading back to the screens for its third instalment.
The announcement came in soon after Christmas when the second instalment of the franchise, Wonder Woman 1984, was released in only select movie theatres.
As reported by Variety, Warner Bros. has already started working on the film with Gal Gadot in the lead and Patty Jenkins as the writer and the director.
“As fans around the world continue to embrace Diana Prince, driving the strong opening weekend performance of Wonder Woman 1984, we are excited to be able to continue her story with our real-life Wonder Women, Gal and Patty, who will return to conclude the long-planned theatrical trilogy,” said chief Toby Emmerich as quoted by Variety.
The third film will have a grand theatrical release, unlike the second film which had to face delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic followed by a release in select theatres only.
