The English actor Tom Holland currently plays the most popular and loved comic book character, Spider-Man, in the MCU and his fans are dying to see him back in action. The actor, who plays Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in the upcoming movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, has reportedly hiked his price significantly to continue working with the Marvels Studio.
According to a report published in We Got This Covered, Tom Holland’s contract with the production house ends after the release of his next, Spider-Man: No Way Home, in December and the MCU heads are working on a renewal contract. However, if reports are to be believed, Tom has asked for a hike in his pay to continue playing the iconic web-slinger in the MCU.
The actor was reportedly given $250,000 for his cameo in the superhero drama, Captain America: Civil War, and his pay was hiked for the solo flicks, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, to $5 Million. The actor has also played a significant role in the Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Now, the studio and the actor are in discussion for a massive pay hike close to $20 Million for upcoming Spider-Man movies.
Meanwhile, Tom will be seen reprising his superhero character in the upcoming movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is currently one of the most anticipated MCU movies. The movie has also created a huge buzz for introducing a Spider-verse and fans claim that it will bring together Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as different Spider-Man versions.
