Vishal Bharadwaj’s Patakha, starring Dangal actress Sanya Malhotra and television actress Radhika Madaan is the director’s much awaited movie this year. Slated to release on 28th September, the trailer of the movie is to be out at 12 am tonight.

The first look of the movie was shared by the team few months back. The fierce rage  and energy of the leading ladies in the teaser itself had our expectation set high, followed by the posters shared by the team on social media then after made it all the more intriguing and exciting.

Set in a small village in Rajasthan, the two sisters Badki and Chhutki  are constantly at loggerheads, each ready to rip apart the other at any given chance. It talks about their life before and after marriage. Both the actresses had to apparently put on 10-12  kilos  to give a realistic touch to their post marriage look in the film.

Radhika last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s TV show Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, marks her debut in films with this project. Sunil Grover is also said to be playing a pivotal role in the movie as Dippar Naradmuni.  The film was earlier titled as ‘Churriyan’.
