Actor R Madhavan, known for his critically acclaimed performances, particularly in the film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect in 2022, will be collaborating with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on a biopic about C Sankaran Nair. Madhavan has established a reputation for himself in the film industry and has a dedicated fanbase eagerly awaiting his next project.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, R Madhavan will be joining Akshay Kumar in a courtroom drama set in the early 1900s. The source close to the project stated that Madhavan, known for his involvement in content-driven films and challenging roles, was impressed by the script for the C Sankaran Nair Biopic and decided to take on the role of a lawyer in the film, based on a real person from that era.

Furthermore, the source revealed that Madhavan has already been shooting with Akshay in secret and the two actors have had multiple script reading sessions to develop their dynamic in the film. Additionally, the source provided insight into Akshay Kumar’s other filming schedules, stating that after completing the second schedule for the C Sankaran Nair Biopic, Kumar will move on to another project, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, a month-long shoot in Mumbai before returning to wrap up the C Sankaran Nair Biopic at the end of February.

The title and release date for the courtroom drama has not been announced yet, but it will be Kumar’s first film release in 2024.
