Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is one of the most anticipated sequels in Bollywood and promises to be an extravagant action affair with the biggest names in the Indian film industry joining Aditya Chopra’s spy universe. While the filming of the action thriller is underway with the recent song shoot in Italy, the movie’s climax is scheduled to be filmed next month with Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR going all out.
Filming of War 2 began early this year, and the production has been setting up visually stunning sets at prime locations worldwide. According to a source close to the development of the project, the makers are putting efforts to set a benchmark for action movies in India with a thrilling third act of the movie. The climax will be shot over 20 days across Mumbai and an undisclosed location with Hrithik Roshan pitted against Jr. NTR. The pre-production for the sequence is currently underway and the lead actors are undergoing intense training sessions to pull off the demanding stunts.
As per the reports, the actors’ training regimen includes strength training, speed-based exercises, and plyometric work, all designed to enhance their agility and power. We might also get to see an engaging hand-to-hand combat between the two superstars.
Earlier a leaked video of Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani surfaced online giving a sneak peak to their looks in the movie. The two were seen filming for a song in Italy and it was suggested that they also filmed an intense action sequence in the same time frame. The fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the first look trailer to get more details into the storyline of the action sequel.
