His feelings for Elliot deepened with time and in the end, Alex re-discovers his identity.

 

Blue Valentine (2010)

Blue Valentine is the story of falling in love at first sight, getting hitched, having a kid, falling out of it and making their way back to each other. The movie essays the struggle of two young married couple Dean(Ryan Gosling)  and Cindy(Michelle Williams) trying to hold their relationship from being a wreck.
