Superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth recently went on a holiday to Iceland with her son Ved and husband Vishagan Vanangamudi. She took to her social media handles to share some blissful pictures of her enjoying in a pool with her son Ved. However, the pictures didn’t go well her the social media users and she faced backlash for enjoying in a pool when Chennai is going through the critical water crisis.
After receiving hateful comments, she decided to delete those pictures from her Twitter handle and tweeted, “Removed the pictures shared in good spirit from my #TravelDiaries considering the sensitivity around the current #WaterScarcity we are facing ??. The throwback pics were to emphasise the importance for physical activities for children from a young age only ??? #LetsSaveWater (sic)”

While many supported her decision and felt bad for her experiences for being a superstar’s daughter, a part of them lashed out at her for not deleting the pictures from her Facebook account.
