Sherlock Holmes is one of the most famous characters in the world of fictional detectives and there are a number of successful interpretations of the characters. However, last year, Netflix released a different take on the family of Holmes with the youngest sibling, Enola Holmes, being the protagonist. After the success, the team is reuniting for a sequel.
Enola Homles portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown took the audience into a different world of Sherlock’s universe with his younger sister, Enola, being the centre of attention. While the movie did well at the streaming giant with its careful writing and great performances, the makers recently announced a sequel.
Taking to its official social handle, Netflix shared, “The sequel is afoot! The adventure continues as Millie Bobby Brown & Henry Cavill return to the world of ENOLA HOLMES, reteaming with director Harry Bradbeer & writer Jack Thorne on a second film based on Nancy Springer’s book series about Sherlock Holmes’ brilliant sister.”

Based on the book series, The Enola Holmes Mysteries, by Nancy Springer, the movie features Henry Cavill as the world’s greatest detective Sherlock Holmes and his fiercest competition Enola Holmes played by Millie Bobby Brown. The first movie deduced that Enola is just as gifted as Sherlock but lacked real-life experiences. However, by the end of the movie, she manages to solve her biggest mystery case without the help of her brothers.
