Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan have always been one of the most sought after couples in the tinsel town. While the duo maintained a ‘Just Friends’ status even after staying in a relationship for years, their fans are not digesting the fact. However, Katrina Kaif recently opened up on her connection with the Dabangg actor and reinforced their friends status.

Talking about her relationship with costar Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif said that they share a strong friendship that has lasted for more than 16 years as she was all praises for Salman Khan. “Its a friendship that’s lasted 16 years, he’s a true friend. He’s a solid person who is there for you when you need it,” the actress said.

The ex-flames have worked together in a number of movies after their break up and shared screen space in their last release, Bharat, as well. While Katrina has been open about her friendship with Salman Khan, he has been on the same terms lately and always supports his co-star.

On the work front, Salman Khan will soon be seen in the third instalment of his super hit Dabangg franchise while Katrina Kaif is busy with her upcoming movie Sooryavanshi as she reunites with Akshay Kumar after a decade.
