Weeks ago, a dreadful accident on the sets of Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2 shocked the entire Indian film industry. Three people were killed while nine were injured in the unfortunate accident when a crane reportedly fell on the technicians as they were preparing for the movie shoot. While the producers announced financial assistance to those injured and to the families of the deceased, the investigation for the investigation is still going on.

Recently, the Central Crime Branch (CBI) called the director of the movie, S Shankar, for interrogation and recorded his statement in a two hours session. Now, the lead actor of the movie, Kamal Haasan, had been called by the CBI for questioning related to the mishap that happened on the sets of his film, Indian 2.

As per the reports, Kamal Haasan has not been mentioned in any FIR filed in relation to the said accident but the investigating officers are leaving no stones unturned to collect information and bring justice to the victims of the accident.

Post the incident, Kamal Haasan had sent his condolences through micro-blogging networking site, Twitter, and wrote, “Today’s accident is the most horrific I have seen in my film career.
