Jacqueline Fernandez has made a name for herself in the Bollywood industry and the actress was last seen opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in the Netflix movie, Drive. While it was earlier informed that Jacqueline has signed a period drama opposite Pawan Kalyan, the latest report spills details about her character in the untitled comedy-drama.
Recently, the Dishoom actress decided to head south and try her luck in the South Indian film industry as she signed a Telugu language comedy-drama. The latest birdie in the town tells that the Srilankan beauty will portray the character of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb’s sister as the story will depict the Mughal era in India. It is also speculated that Arjun Rampal might play the Mughal Emperor while the lead character played by superstar Pawan Kalyan will be tasked to steal Kohinoor from the Mughals in a fictional story.
The report also informs us that there will be two actresses in the movie and Jacqueline will have an upper hand in terms of screen presence. While the movie was slated to go on the floors in the month of April, the makers might have to reschedule everything amid the Coronavirus lockdown. Jacqueline will be shooting for a 40-days start to end schedule for the movie once the situation stabilizes.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline Fernandez is yet to finish her shooting for the John Abraham starrer, Attack, which also stars Rakul Preet Singh in a key role.
