One of the greatest basketball players of all-time and former NBA star Kobe Bryant died in an unfortunate helicopter crash on Sunday which left the entire basketball fandom in mourn. As per the early reports, Kobe Bryant was among the 9 people who died in the accident which happened in the city of Calabasas, California.

Kobe Bryant was travelling along with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and 7 others in his private helicopter which crashed on Sunday while the reason for the accident is still being investigated. Often compared to the basketball legend, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant was one of the most popular Los Angeles Lakers champions and numerous renowned celebrities took to their social media handles to mourn the untimely death of the basketball legend.

Talking about the accident, authorities in Los Angeles County said that it would take several days to recover and identify the bodies of the people killed in the accident as the helicopter crashed in rough terrains. While the officials said that it is yet to determine the number of passengers approved to be carried by helicopter, they proposed the possibility the helicopter being overloaded.

While a thorough investigation is being carried out to determine the cause of the unfortunate crash, the entire world is mourning the death of the former NBA star Kobe Bryant.
