It was earlier reported that Amitabh Bachchan will be collaborating with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya for a slice of the life story of friendship. The yet-to-be-titled movie will be bringing together critically acclaimed actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Neena Gupta amongst others and the movie is expected to go on the floors in a month.
Featuring Amitabh in the lead alongside an ensemble cast of Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Neena Gupta, Sooraj Barjatya will be exploring the bond of friendship with his next. The movie is scheduled for filming from October and the team will be flying to Nepal to shoot the same. Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, reportedly, has done a countrywide recce to find a suitable and safe environment for the shooting with veteran actors and the team has finalised a location in Nepal for a major chunk of the movie.
The team will be staying in the neighbouring country for over 40 days for the shooting of the movie in a strict bio bubble and necessary precautionary measures. The shoot will be following by brief schedules in Delhi and Mumbai. The movie will mark the first collaboration between Amitabh Bachchan and Sooraj Barjatya, and the filmmaker is excited to explore a different theme. The plot is reportedly close to the heart of Barjatya.
With no hiccups, the makers are expecting to wrap the filming by January next year and the movie is expected to have a theatrical release in the third quarter of 2022.
