Rajesh Khanna is the greatest and legendary actor that Indian film industry has produced so far and he is termed as the first superstar of India for a reason. During the era of 1960s to 1980s, Rajesh Khanna delivered back to back 17 hit movies and single-handedly ruled the box office. While many actors have achieved the megastar status but no one has defeated the feat of the superstar Rajesh Khanna.

After straight 47 years, his son-in-law, Akshay Kumar, is looking forward to setting a new benchmark and break the greatest record of the Indian box office. Following the footsteps of his father-in-law, Akshay Kumar has delivered 17 consecutive hits so far starting from Holiday that released in the year 2014, thus making a tie with Rajesh Khanna’s record.

Now that Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the Diwali release with the fourth instalment of his superhit Housefull franchise and considering the hype built around it, seems like he is all set to create history in Bollywood. With Housefull 4 releasing on 26 October, Akshay Kumar is looking forward to becoming the first Bollywood actor to deliver consecutive 18 hit movies with a single flop.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is not far behind in the race as he has delivered 14 back to back hit movies so far. With Dabangg 3RadheVeteran remake and Kick 2 in his upcoming flicks, he can go on par with Akshay Kumar’s hit streak.
