Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode on the 14th of June when he died by hanging at his Bandra residence. While the Mumbai police are carrying investigation to find the actual cause of his suicide and interrogating friends and colleagues who were in contact with the late actor, his fans are leaving no stones unturned to keep his name and legacy alive. With a memorial made for him to remember his memories in Patna, permission has been granted to rename a street after his name.

Mayor Savita Devi has given the permit to rename a street after the name of the late actor as a tribute to him in Purnia district in Bihar. A road and a roundabout leading from Madhubani town to Mata Chowk in Purnia will be renamed as Sushant Singh Rajput Chowk. Devi said that it is their way of remembering and paying tribute to the actor. While the news came as a blessing to his fans, they are still demanding CBI to involve in the case.

Many celebrities from the entertainment industry as well as political leaders have also demanded a CBI inquiry in the actor’s suicide case. While the initial investigation from the Mumbai police ruled it as a suicide, they are now probing for a professional rivalry resulting in the actor’s demise. Renowned celebrities, filmmakers and his closed friends are being interrogated to find possible links but netizens along with many renowned names are asking for a CBI inquiry.

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s last movie, Dil Bechara, is to be released on OTT platform on the 24th of July. Helmed by Mukesh Chhabra, Dil Bechara is a Hindi adaptation of the novel ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ by John Green and stars Sanjana Sanghi in the female lead.
