The excitement for Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film Baby John has just hit a new level with the revelation that Salman Khan will make a thrilling cameo appearance. This action-packed movie, a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Theri, is already buzzing thanks to its high-octane collaboration between Dhawan and director Atlee. Now, with Salman Khan stepping in for a special role, fans can expect an even more electrifying cinematic experience.

According to Mid-Day, Salman Khan’s role as a senior police officer has been tailor-made to fit his larger-than-life persona. In the original Theri, this role was played by Prabhu, but directors Kalees and Atlee have reimagined it to match Khan’s signature style, complete with dynamic action sequences and clever one-liners. A source revealed, “Atlee and Kalees crafted this character with Salman’s iconic action-star image in mind, adding some exciting fight scenes and his signature swagger.”

Baby John follows Dhawan’s character, a devoted police officer who steps away from the force after a personal tragedy, going undercover to protect his daughter. However, when her safety is threatened, Salman’s character steps in as a mentor, helping Dhawan’s character rediscover his purpose and return to the police force. “Salman’s cop character acts as a guiding light for Varun’s role, restoring his faith and urging him back into action,” the source added.

Salman is set to shoot his scenes over the weekend at a studio in Andheri. Although Dhawan completed his major portions back in April, he will return to the set to join Khan and Jackie Shroff, who plays the antagonist. Over two days, Salman will shoot his introduction scene and take part in some adrenaline-pumping action sequences. The creative team, including Kalees and writer Sumit Arora, is working tirelessly to ensure that Khan’s cameo becomes a standout moment in the film.

Salman Khan’s cameo is expected to be a major highlight, with his action-packed scenes and mentor role adding extra flair to the film. Fans can also look forward to seeing an ensemble cast that includes Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff. Baby John is set for a grand release in December 2024, just in time for Christmas.
