With the success of pan-India movies lately, more makers are working on bringing stories that attract the entire country. With the filmmaker S Shankar being one of the most iconic pan-India directors, Ranveer Singh is all prepared to join the bandwagon of pan-India projects with an epic story.
According to media reports, actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker S Shankar are joining hands for an upcoming pan-India project which is touted to be the biggest pan-India event after Baahubali‘s success. The yet-to-be-titled project is said to be based on the iconic Tamil epic novel ‘Velpari’ and will bring a larger-than-life hero to teach incredible life lessons.
Quoting a source close to the development, the report said, “Shankar wants to make the biggest pan-Indian film by bringing one of the biggest superstars of our generation, superstar Ranveer Singh, to helm this ambitious project – a grand cinematic adaptation of the iconic Tamil epic Velpari.”
The epic saga will be made as a trilogy as the story is so vast and complex to be covered in one film. The filmmaker has reportedly devised a screenplay that lends itself to a three-part film. The team is likely to bring the project to the floors by the second half of the next year. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the project so far.
