Luv Ranjan’s untitled film that was supposed to bring Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor together was once talk of the town and stayed in headlines for the longest. The speculated action thriller was also said to reuniting Ranbir Kapoor with ex-flame Deepika Padukone on the big screen. However, it broke many fans when the news came out that the project has been shelved due to creative differences.
Recently, Ajay Devgn, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming period drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, opened up on the collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor and confirmed that the much-speculated project has been delayed not shelved. Ajay Devgn said that he had a line-up of movies in his prior commitments and therefore the project got delayed.
The actor also informed that Luv Ranjan had already got Ranbir Kapoor’s dates for the movie and after mutual agreements between the three, Ajay suggested him to do a film with Ranbir in the meantime. “I told him he could go ahead and make this film first instead of waiting for me. After he makes this film and I am done with other commitments, we’ll begin work on our collaboration,” Tanhaji actor added.
While Ajay Devgn is gearing up for Om Raut directorial Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior alongside Kajol and Saif Ali Khan, he also has Bhuj: The Pride of India co-starring Rana Daggubati in the pipeline. If things work out as expected, a collaboration between Ranbir and Ajay might happen in the third quarter of 2020.
